Photo essay: A rare winter day in Jacobus Park
Winter has disappointed so far. While other parts of the country have gotten pounded with snow, we've had almost none. One day in January there was a light dusting. By the following day it was gone. It rained several times in January--the month when it has been more normal to see 31 days below freezing. Then, early in February we got a few inches. That also didn't last long. I managed to get outside before all of it melted away and caught a little of the partially snowy landscapes of Jacobus Park.
